“LETTERS TO SPECTATORS” OF A.GIRDZIJAUSKAITĖ 2010 02 01

The new book of the theatre critic Audronė Girdzijauskaitė “Letters to Spectators” will be presented at Vilnius Small Theatre on the 1st of February at 5 p.m. The book is compiled from articles of the author published in the press during the latter years.

The book of A.Girdzijauskaitė made of two parts was published by the Writers’ Union Publishing House. Live impressions from performances, the longing for good theatre, thoughts on the achievements of the Lithuanian theatre are published in the first part. The second part is formed of impressions from Torune international theatre festival "Contact", from Wroclaw and Warsaw international festivals.

It is the fourth book dedicated to stage art presented in Lithuania this year.

The books “History of Lithuanian Theatre. 1980-1990” prepared by theatre critics, “Jonas Kavaliauskas” written by Eugenijus Ignatavičius and “Impulse of Heart” of the theatre critic Tatjana Baltušnikienė were issued recently.
