Lithuanian jazz masters Leonid Shinkarenko’s band Jazz 4 will give a concert in London on the 10th and 11th of February. The trumpet player Valerijus Ramoška, pianist Dainius Pulauskas and percussionist Linas Būda will perform along with the bassist L.Shinkarenko.
The Lithuanian band Jazz 4 will play in the West London jazz club 606, in Chelsea, in the East London club Charlie Wrights International.

The audience heard the name of L.Shinkarenko in 1981 for the first time, when the young bassist made his debut on the international stage in the band of the well-known Vladimir Chekasin. Later he played in the band of the saxophonist Petras Vyšniauskas, in the ensemble Džiazo Nublokšti.
After Lithuania regained independence, L.Shinkarenko gave concerts with the best jazz performers of the country, participated in projects Vilnius Jazz Quartet, Lithuanian Jazz Trio, in Lithuanian and foreign jazz festivals (more than 100). The routes of his concerts stretch from European countries to Japan and Malaysia.
The musician played in Turin Book Fair and in the fair of music business MIDEM in France. His performance in Penang festival in Malaysia in 2009 was extremely successful: L.Shinkarenko participated with D.Pulauskas’ band there.
L.Shinkarenko founded Jazz 4 band in 1997. Three albums have already been released with the band. The solo album of the musician “New Mood Jazz“ was released in 2006.
The concerts of Jazz 4 band are supported by the Embassy of Lithuania in the United Kingdom.
