A meeting with the writer Markas Zingeris will be organised in Kaunas, at Vytautas Magnus University (K.Donelaičio Str. 52, hall 211 (of M. Gimbutienė)) on the 9th of March at 4 p.m.
The poet, prose writer, playwright and translator will speak about his works, will discuss about fiction and fact in the text of fiction and about the relation of authenticity and auto-biography, prototype and character in a piece of literature work.
The novel “Conversation between Autumn and Spring” issued by M.Zingeris in 2009 will be presented. The novel is among the top ten most creative books of the year.
Markas Zingeris was born in Prienai on January 2, 1947. In 1971 he finished journalism studies at Vilnius University. The writer is a member of the Lithuanian Writers' Union since 1990.
